I have learned to love you so much more being away from you. “You”, can be referred to a love of in your life. Love for a person, love for your motherland, love for your roots, and love for unforgettable moments.
Often when we leave a moment in time, we don’t realize the importance and the right consideration, only when you are distant from it and the future can clear your mind and paradoxically reinforce your love for these moments. It’s not nostalgia, it’s actually an acknowledgement, having gratitude, and celebrating your life events…seeking the future to make the present as another memorable moment.
My major focus in the last decade has been narrowed to bring together the inspirations of the “parallel universes” of visual art and music.
Lontano is the first composition of an album project where I compose the music and the painting.
